Prenatal
Prenatal sessions at your home where we will explore:
1.Reprogramming your mindset about birth: breathwork, physiology of birth, stages of birth, hypnobirthing 101, golden hour and skin to skin, birth positions and biomechanics of birth
2. Know your options and advocacy: place of birth, comfort measures, interventions, knowing your rights, informed decision-making, role of birth partners
3. Birth planning: Create plan A, B & C, role playing birth scenarios, exploring cultural traditions around pregnancy and birth
4. Postnatal planning: baby feeding, baby wearing, perinatal mental health, perineal and pelvic care, signposting and connecting with local resources
-Access to my library of birth, breastfeeding/chestfeeding and postnatal healing books

Birth
I will be on call for 4 weeks surrounding birth (2 weeks before due date, 2 weeks after). During this time I will:
- Be available 24/7 for this entire period to provide text and phone support while your body prepares for birth.
- Offer support with exercises for optimal foetal positioning to help your baby to descend into your pelvis prior to birth.
- Establish the best time to travel in to hospital or when to call your midwife if having a homebirth.
- Attend your chosen place of birth to support you physically and emotionally.
- Advocate for your wishes as described in your birth plan.
- Prepare your home in cases of homebirth
- Maintain calmness via tools and techniques practised beforehand
- Help you to establish skin-to-skin contact with your baby and initiate breast/chestfeeding.

Postnatal
​Within a week of your birth, I will visit you for a debrief to:
- Process your birth experience together and bring closure to the experience.
- Offer basic support with feeding your baby and help with issue relating to milk supply, latching and positioning.
-Monitoring or holding the baby so you can rest when needed
-Preparing simple snacks or tea and offering recipes to support with postnatal healing
- Offer assistance with rituals to honour the placenta e.g placenta burials or prints.
- Help prepare sitz baths or steams to support with perineal and womb healing.
- Support with baby wearing using a sling or carrier.
- Perinatal mental health awareness and signposting to local resources

Homebirth support
I am happy to support those giving birth at home, whether that be with NHS community midwives or an independent midwife. I collaborate and work alongside local independent midwives in North and West London.
I am also happy to support those who choose to give birth without medical assistance (freebirth). Please get in touch to learn more.
